Big Brother Africa is the African version of the Big Brother series. It shows contestants from various African countries living in an isolated house somewhere in Johannesburg, South Africa. Each participating country provides at least one contestant and will spend the next number of days in the house in the house for a huge sum of money as the prize for the winner. Depending on the scenario, viewers may save the contestant they want to continue seeing or evict a contestant they want to see leave the house as soon as possible. As of 2014, seventeen African countries have participated in the competition.
